My name is Rhiannon Robertson, and I’m a relational integrative psychotherapist. I offer psychotherapy to individuals and couples.
I’m based in Margate, and I work both in person and online. My practice is easily accessible from the surrounding towns of Broadstairs and Ramsgate.
I have been practising as a psychotherapist for over 10 years.
Alongside my private practice, I have worked in higher education, addiction services and NHS secondary care – working with clients presenting with complex and enduring mental health issues. I have also managed counselling services for the charity Mind, and other local services in London and Kent
Prior to training as a psychotherapist, I worked in the arts sector as a creative learning producer.
I work with both individuals and couples, as well as specialising in psychosexual therapy.
My work is underpinned by my commitment to diversity and inclusion. I’m an LGBTQIA+ and a neurodivergent affirming therapist. I welcome clients from all cultures, gender identities, sexualities and relationships types.
I also work from a trauma-informed perspective, holding in mind the impact that trauma can have on relationships, emotional regulation and behavioural patterns
I am passionate about peri-natal mental health and supporting individuals and couples with the huge transition into parenthood. A traumatic or difficult birth can make this already life changing transition feel even harder.
I offer stand-alone or short term therapy sessions for mothers or birthing people (and also partners). These sessions offer you the opportunity to share and process your birth experience in a safe and compassionate space, whilst working holistically with both body and mind.
I am based in Margate, CT9. I also offer online and walking sessions.
